Cookie Policy

1. Purpose and scope

You are informed that, during your visits to our website, cookies may be installed on your equipment (desktop or laptop computer, tablet or smartphone).

The purpose of this policy is to inform you of the essential elements relating to the way in which we use these cookies, the objectives pursued in the context of their use, and to inform you of your rights in this respect.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files recorded and/or read in the terminal of an Internet user when consulting a website or any mobile application, and used by this site to send information to the browser software.

Cookies have many uses: they can be used to memorise your customer ID with a merchant site, the current contents of your shopping basket, the language in which a web page is displayed, an identifier enabling your browsing to be tracked for statistical or advertising purposes, etc.

Throughout its period of validity, a cookie enables its sender to recognise the terminal each time it accesses content containing cookies from the same sender.

3. Purpose of the cookies used

The cookies we use can be grouped into three categories:

  • so-called essential or technical cookies ;
  • audience measurement/statistics cookies; and
  • advertising/marketing cookies.

We do not use cookies that store sensitive personal data.

1. Essential or technical cookies

Essential or technical cookies are those whose sole purpose is to enable or facilitate communication by electronic means, or those strictly necessary for the provision of an online communication service at the express request of the user.

In particular, these cookies make it possible to:

  • To keep the choice expressed by the user on the deposit of tracers;
  • Authenticate the user to a service;
  • Adapt the presentation of the site to the display preferences of the terminal;
  • To store information relating to the contents of a shopping basket, or to forms that the user has filled in on the site;
  • To offer users access to their account.

2. Audience measurement/statistics cookies

Audience measurement/statistical cookies are used to obtain information about the user’s browsing (examples of purposes: measuring performance, detecting browsing problems, optimising technical performance or ergonomics, estimating the power of the servers required, analysing the content consulted, etc.).

3. Advertising/marketing cookies

Advertising/marketing cookies are linked to targeted advertising, i.e. the observation of users’ browsing habits, making it possible to create a specific profile in order to show advertising tailored to them.

4. Third-party cookies

Our website may also contain third-party cookies.

We ensure that these cookies are properly managed by third-party services, but we cannot be held responsible for them.

5. Retention period

Technical cookies are only kept for the time necessary for the proper operation of our services. Audience measurement cookies are kept for a maximum of 13 months, and the information collected via these cookies for 25 months. Other cookies are kept for a reasonable period depending on their purpose. Consent for their use does not exceed 13 months.

6. Consent and exemption

According to CNIL guidelines, a distinction must be made between cookies that require prior consent and those that fall under the exemption regime.

The cookies that require your prior consent are advertising cookies and audience measurement cookies that are not exempt from consent.

Technical cookies and certain audience measurement cookies fall under the exemption regime.

With regard to audience measurement cookies exempt from consent, you may exercise your right to object.

We use a Consent Management Platform (‘CMP’) to collect consent and manage the right to object.

Using this tool, you can easily manage the activation or deactivation of our cookies, with the exception of technical cookies which are and remain necessary for the proper functioning of our services.

Please note that if your browser blocks certain cookies, some of the site’s services or functions may not function correctly.

7. Contacting us

If you have any questions, please contact our Data Protection Officer: dpo@chr-numerique.fr

8. Revision

In the event of regulatory changes or recommendations from the CNIL, we reserve the right to modify this policy.
