Our story
Founded over 10 years ago, we’re still going strong
We were created by a restaurateur to solve a real problem of hygiene, cleaning rotas and traceability of food and produce, to reduce wastage, to save time and money and to remove paper and pens from kitchens.
Created in 2012
After 30 years of experience as a restaurateur, Yves Rallon developed ePack Hygiene (future ePackPro) to address the real needs of CHR professionals. He saw how tedious and time-consuming it was to ensure compliance while focusing on the core activity of cooking. Taking ticketing from handwritten lists and tasks checked off on paper stuck on the fridge to a digital system on a screen.
Yves Rallon realized he was onto something when he saw the results in his restaurants. He saw the potential of it, enabling all restaurant professionals to meet European regulatory obligations in hygiene, traceability, and food safety. The solution was born in 2012, as a pioneer in France.

Creating a brand a logo with a local print shop, he took the very first ePack system to a food tech trade show. It attracted huge amounts of attention and the sales started to come in, almost everyone who demo’d it requested it.
Expansion across France and much more
Today, ePackPro is a leading solution for all who work in the preparation of food. With a focus on local and independent restaurants, bakers and butchers… the business grows from strength to strength across cities, towns and villages across France. Right from the beginning there is a strong focus on in-person demo, training, installation, support and above all, ease of use.
ePackPro is now adopted by more than 18,000 food professionals in France and in more than 40 countries around the world.

To navigate these challenges, Stéphane Ankaoua, a hugely experienced CEO, is welcomed to support growth, accelerate international development and secure sustained success. The company now has 4 offices in Europe : Brest, Paris, Madrid and Milan.
In september 2024, ePack Hygiene becomes ePackPro. A new brand and website are launched. Our company remains true to its origins, emphasizing human connection, which is fundamental in the culinary industry. We focus on efficiency and reliability to enhance the customer experience.
With a new version of the system upgraded with new features and functionalities, ePackPro is ready to become the global giant of digital HACCP.
